I guess we’ve all heard about the latest antics of Mr. Charlie Sheen, the famous actor. We have endured the detailed description of how was acting in a somewhat bizarre fashion, even for Hollywood types. We’ve all heard the psychobabble analysis by talking heads about his success, his failures, his drug use, no, now he’s been sober for a long time, etc., etc.
Some would have us believe he is the typical Hollywood bad-boy, independent spirit; or success has gone to his head, or maybe he is simply doing what comes naturally for his personality, now that he can afford it. And yes, there is the drama associated with the professional life, how some network fired him from his day-job acting on a sitcom, but he’s going to sue them, but wait, no, the network is going to sue him first yeah, yeah, yeah.
We have also heard that the general public (?) is greatly interested in his story because we like to see our bigger-than-life heroes (?) take a dive, thus reassuring us that they are really just mortals like ourselves. On the other hand, some claim the public interest is generated out of envy for Mr. Sheen’s unique lifestyle, his fame, his fortune, his fancy cars, his beautiful girlfriends etc. etc. etc. But he sure is a lousy example for kids……
It sure is nice to know that these things matter. But as for me, when I hear about Charlie Sheen, I am inclined z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z. More importantly, whenever a well-acted publicity stunt is hatched, especially involving a great acting talent like Charlie Sheen, I just can’t help but z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z. And that is all well and good because you see, if it weren’t for Charlie Sheen, z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z.
I want to leave you with this one thought: Charlie Sheen might z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z. But to us regular guys, its fun to daydream about what it might be like to live Charlie Sheen’s z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z.
